We stayed in Romance Paradise for 6 days, and it was ok. Beautiful view and lot of jungle that surrounds you, since the garden is very green and bloomy. The balcony is dangerous coz the fence is very low, aprox 40 cm. And its not very romantic to have neighbours in room beneith yours. AC malfunctioning sometime, but Staff fixed. Breakfast was a big dissappointment. Not much to choose from, and pancakes, egg and so On, were not kept hot.

Es ist ein schönes Hotel braucht mit der Zeit allerdings eine Renovierung um ein sehr gutes 4* zu bleiben. Der Meerblick von oben aus dem Restaurant, Lounge oder Pool ist traumhaft schön. Toller Sonnenuntergang. Das Frühstück ist sehr asiatisch aber wir sind in Thailand daher sollten wir kein Deutsches Frühstück erwarten oder verlängern. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet aber leider ohne Wifi. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Wir haben ein Villa Garden gebucht aber direkt am Check in haben wir einen kostenlosen Upgrade auf Villa mit Meerblick bekommen. Sehr Kundenfreundlich! Das Hotel ist nicht direkt in der Stadt aber zu Fuss dauert ca. 25Min. oder halt mit Taxi für ca. 200 Barth. Transfer in + out werden kostenlos angeboten. Das ist schon super angenehm! Das Hotel liegt sehr schön ruhig, man braucht allerdings ein Moped. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und bemüht. Die Zimmer haben einen Bluck zum Meer und sind sehr schön ausgestattet. Das Hotelmanagement achtet sehr auf ökologische Führung, so gibt es keine Plastikstühle und in den Zimmern ist vieles aus ökologischem Material. Es besitzt eine wunderschöne Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer.

Schöne tropische Umgebung, toller Blick vom Pool und Restaurant aus. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Leider wird das Resort nicht so erhalten wie es nötig wäre. WLAN in der Lobby ist etwas langsam. Transfer vom und zum Pier durch das Hotel. Man läuft 15-20 min bis zum Ort

Cet hôtel pourrait être magnifique... Il est complément laissé à la l abandon ! Tout est vieux, pas entretenu ou cassé. L accès aux chambres est très dangereux pour certaines (lattes de bois branlantes, fissurées ou cassées). Les chambres ne sont quasiment pas nettoyées, idem pour la salle de bain (matériel sanitaire très vieux et remontés d odeurs). Des insectes et bêtes se trouvent dans tous les recoins des pièces. On n y voit quasiment rien, que ce soit dans les chambres(2 petites lampes de chevet dont une cassée) ou dans l hôtel. Tous les jours quelque chose d autre ne fonctionnait plus dans la chambre (frigo, lampe...) Le petit déjeuner est une autre déception, on se demande si la nourriture n est pas déjà en place depuis plusieurs jours. Nombreux insectes jusque dans les plats ou yaourts. Tâches de nourritures sur TOUTES les nappes et serviettes. Le Spa n est plus ouvert depuis un bout de temps apparemment.. Enfin cet hôtel n est absolument PAS managé !!! Le personnel est carrément effronté ! Si vous demandez pour un service, vous attendrez désespérément que celui ci arrive... Ils se prélassent sur les transats de votre chambre au moment de faire la chambre et sont en permanence sur leurs téléphones ou tablette. Pareil pour les personnes a l accueil, des écouteurs dans les oreilles et jouant sur leurs téléphones, elles ne lèvent même pas les yeux quand vous leurs parlez !! Je voyage énormément et fait actuellement un tour de l Asie depuis plusieurs mois; je n ai jamais vu ça !!! Fortement déconseillé !!! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

A nice resort with spectacular views over the bay, but service is pretty poor and not what you expect when you spend 5000 baht on a room. Firstly they took money for a room I booked online but then said the room wasn t available so I either took a basic room or upgraded. So I upgraded and paid more money than I wanted to. A very small discount was offered but that was pointless as the hotel did not provide a free pickup from the pier. When I phoned they told me to take a taxi which is ridiculously expensive on koh tao. When we checked out we were told the free transfer was only twice a day and we d missed the first one so again had to pay for a cab. The rooms and grounds were nice, with a little beach at th bottom of the hill but they have a few general maintenance issues like broken chairs, tiles missing, construction material laying around the place and rubbish. And despite our best efforts at explaining to the staff that the wifi didn t work in our room we were just handed more print outs of the wifi password. Staff on the front desk didn t seem to know what to do when things didn t go exactly to plan, and there was a big language barrier. I don t generally expect perfect spoken English but at resorts that charge this much you usually get staff that are attentive, helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was great, breakfast selection was excellent and the boys that worked in there were very friendly and helpful. I booked and paid for a room at a particular rate and then was told the room was not available and I could either pay more money or take a basic room. I was offered a small discount (5%) to upgrade but then had to pay another 2000+ baht and the discount barely even covered the cost of the addition bank charges. Very unprofessional. We loved the Thipwimarn Resort. Mostly due to its lovely garden/jungle, the fantastic romantic pool and the stunning view from the restaurant/breakfast area. The villas were a little outdated, but not in a way that affected our stay. Staff was always friendly and helpful. I recommend it for a stay on Koh Tao. You can walk to the village or rent a scooter. I loved this resort! A little bit out of the way of the main busy area by the beach and up in what felt like the real jungle. The staff were friendly and helpful, the small pool amazing at sunset. Just a truely relaxing place.

这是一个非常美丽的地方，从Reception或餐厅就能望到南园，而且酒店也能安排船直接送到南园，不必再去码头绕一圈了。另外酒店自带的沙滩虽然很小，但是海水非常好，鱼群很多，而且因为底下是颗粒较大的砂子，所以不管我们怎么玩，海水都不会浑，这点非常重要，也是我们这次行程中除南园外看到的最好的一片海水了。这个酒店唯一的不足之处就是只有在Reception那才有wifi，而且速度超慢，加上岛上常常没有手机信号，有时候要找同伴不得不爬一段山路 [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Lot of steps to take every day on the stairway. To much excersise and not suited for someone who is not in a good shape. (older/disabled people) Also child unfriendly hotel. Das Resort ist herrlich, insbesondere der Pool und die Aussicht. auch der kleine balkon unter dem Strohdach ist fantastisch. Der Service im Restaurant war seeeehr langsam. Obst und DVD Player wurden erst auf Anfrage gestellt, beides dauerte etwas lange. Die Lage war zwar herrlich abgeschieden jedoch auch etwas kompliziert, wenn man an den sairee beach wollte. Taxis verlangen utopische Preise. Also bleibt nur noch sich ein Motorbike zu mieten :) Der Strand ist nicht zu empfehlen. War ungepflegt, mit Müll und zum Schnorcheln gabs auch kaum was..

The rooms were great! However the service was one of the worst I ve had. They were never around to serve you, they got it wrong the first and the second time when you asked and they also tried to bill us with stuff that we have never ordered! The Thipwimarn was the most beautiful place I have stayed on Koh Tao. The staff was very friendly and helpful on any request. The view is amazing and the rooms are very quite and nice equipped. The Thipwimarn is the perfect place for honeymooners and people who are looking for relaxation. The Spa is beatiful next to the pool area with a wonderful view over the gulf of thailand. This Resort is really really beautiful and nice! Even not staying at sea view room, the sea view is quite great. Bunglow is surrounded by palm leaves and other green trees,hearing sea all the time, feel easy and relax all the way. The reception and restaurant is at hill top and room in the middle of hill, and a little bit far from room to swimming pool. you can imagine it is a little bit tired to climb all the way :) but considered the good taste of the resort thai resturant and perfect view from swimming pool, it is worth it. The only one regret is the sea wave down the hill is really big, hardly can swim or snorkeling. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The view is really good which is the same as pic shown on website. but the room is a little small than expect in such price level. The staffs are quite nice and willing to help any time, the food is OK. but the items for breakfast is little. The insect is a problem, need to be improved. Pity that the beach of this hotel is too small to have more fun.

We booked 4 nights at thipwimarn Resort because we thought we want to have some luxury for a few days. Even though we booked the cheepest room (superior)for 3400 Baht (75 Euro) we were convinced that for this price (in thailand) it would be really luxury. We were wrong. Nice surrounding, yes, but BAD room. Toilet broken, Shower broken, bath moldy, room dirty. Even though we complained and wanted to leave we didn t get another room and we had to pay one night AND 15% for the booked 3 nights we didn t stay there anymore. What a BIG disappointment! It s definitly not worth the money - that s our opinion. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We had such a fantastic time! I felt like royalty staying at Thipwimarn Resort. Fresh Juice on arrival, easy check-in and out procedures, a beautiful room that looked just like the picture. a comfortable bed, an extravagant free breakfast buffet in the morning. Wonderful friendly staff more like angels with their ability to attend our every need. I wish our stay had been longer. What a relaxing vacation we had thanks to Thipwimarn.:)

Hello, Me and my wife been in Honnymoon in this hotel. There is no hot water ,to much muskitus,not good lights in the roads in night and it was very dark to go your room,the women in reception leave in 19:00.

MY honey and I have been Thipwimarn 5 years ago.this is the second time to there.so many memories.we miss Thipwimarn,miss the wonderful recepation ,miss the beautiful view swimpool,miss the cottage,miss the dog.

Magnifique hôtel avec une vue splendide sur l océan et une très jolie piscine à débordement. L architecture de l hôtel est vraiment originale avec ses escaliers menant à la mer à travers les frangipaniers. Le coin déjeuner est vraiment reposant. On y resterait bien plus longtemps... Very beautiful resort with a lot of green around. Quiet, clean. Excellent sea view, no matter in room, in restaurant or in swimming pool. All employees are very friendly! I really enjoy the time I stayed there.

Lovely resort. Really peaceful. Stayed 5 nights in a seaview cottage. Great resturant with amazing views, spectacular sunsets and good food. Great pool with views across Sairee beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Resort is a little out of the way but we hired a scooter which made it really easy to get around. Otherwise a very hilly 20min walk down to the town and beach. Ideal for people who want to be away from the tourists (but not too far from the town). [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Hôtel avec environement magnifique: jardin tropical, vue splendide et personnel agréable. il manque un manager pour superviser cet hôtel : on ne débarrasse pas les tables à la piscine!, les nappes ne sont pas fraîches!, les repas sont très lent!! Dommage! car les atouts sont là

The Best Place on Koh Tao! We were 2 nights at Charm Churee Villa, which was awful in comparision to Thipwimarm. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere, everyone was nice and helpful, beautiful surroundings. Just perfect!

The resort was lovely, however quite a steep walk from Saree Beach. We ended up hiring a scooter. The bungalows were a steep decline from the reception so the climb back up the stairs to the top was quite painfull - especially in the heat. The breakfast the first day was good - the other 2 days stay the buffet breakfast was appauling. The the cost of the accommodation I don t feel it was value for money. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

If you don t mind being a little far from the action then I highly recommend this resort. It is green, lucious and very close to nature with specatacular views of the gulf from most suites. This place has a very special feel to it. Even when it is fully booked you feel like you are the only ones who have the pleasure of staying there. There were a couple of hitches but nothing that would stop me from staying there again. We had originally booked the private garden honeymoon retreat, which being our honeymoon sounded perfect and just what we wanted as it said it had fantastic views of the sea, a private balcony where nobody could see you and a spaceious room. When we were taken to our room it was one of the lesser honeymoon suites that was not private at all. In fact it was the first suite where all the traffic goes past to get to the other rooms and the private balcony could be seen by all and the sea views were glimpes of sea through the vast trees. We spoke to reception and they were very kind and showed us one of their boutique rooms. They originally said it would only be 1000 baht per night more as a deal due to us being unhappy with our room. We were fine with this as the room was amazing but just after we had settled in they called us to advise it would be 2000 baht per night more. this blew the budget for us so we again requested a room change. they moved us to the lovely seaview room 2 which was gorgeous, private, tranquil and all we ever wanted. Other than that all was fine except that the restaurant staff, although gracious & lovely have a poor command of english so the 3 dinners we had there came out wrong every time! it was quite frustrating in the end so just make sure that you point out exactly what you want on the menu and then get them to repeat it otherwise who knows what you will get. All in all though this place is gorgeous and if it s in your budget or a special occasion GO! because if its luxurious, rustic Thai charm & hospitality, amongst true nature that you re looking for then you will never forget Thipwimarn,it s amazing sea views and peaceful environment. Koh Tao is a very special place - Take a visit before it becomes a victim of over tourism. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Had a lovely time at thipwimarn, a truely tastefull resort. Horizon pool is to die photo (and great for snaps) food is very good, authentic thai - actually spicy if you order spicy, rather than mulled down for westerners! The staff were very very helpfull and friendly. The rooms themselves are very private with showers that overlook the ocean, fresh fruit on arrival, amazing smelling lotions etc. All room elements are in exremely good taste and perfect for the setting. enjoy! A very nice looking hotel with a beautiful wiev. BUT: don´t go there with children or persons afraid of hights. I´ts built in a very steep hill, and you have to walk in a lot of stairs to get from the reception area to your room. The pool is a lot smaller than it looks to be in the pictures. We had made a reservation for four nights but moved after just one because it wasn´t safe to bee there with children. We are dissapointed that we did´nt get information about that it´s not a suitable place for children. I´ts a typical honeymoon place.

Marvellous!!! Actually, we bookded for one night, but after checking-in, we dediced to stay there for the rest days in Koh Tao!!! Everything there is wonderful, and the seaview is incredible and unforgettable! Great service! And don t hesitate to have lunch in the restaurant, as a gourmet, I am telling you, the food there is delicious!

This hotel is very beautiful and nice place to enjoy our short and sweet holiday. The people and food are very good there; even the little dogs are so cute and funny. I definitely agreed that it’s a wonderful and peaceful place to indulge ourselves. I need to send my sincerely thanks for the receptionist and securities in the hotel who helped us to find out our lost motor bicycle which mistakenly used by other tourist, and finally got back our passport from the motor bicycle shop. It’s really a terrible experience to find out a lost motor bicycle in such a unfamiliar island, but their kindness helped us a lot and let us feel comfortable and easy. Thanks a lot for their kind help and we go back again when I revisit Koh Tao in the near future.

If you are looking for luxury you are likely to be disappointed. However there is definitely a magical quality to the resort which makes up for the fact that the reality doesn t quite match the images in their glossy brochures. Staff were excellent and although the water was too rough for snorkelling we still enjoyed our two-night stay at the resort. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

My wife and I spent six nights here on honeymoon and had a thoroughly agreeable stay. We had originally booked the honeymoon garden room, however on arrival, the room was nothing like the one posted on the internet and was dark and in need of refurbishment. We switched to a boutique room (new this year) and the difference was amazing. The staff could not do enough for us,and even the ongoing construction work failed to disturb us. We would definitely stay again - the views from the restaurant and pool were amazing, and the spa was a tranquil experience, if a little overpriced. Thanks Thipwimarn! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
