The hotel build new rooms, but the surroundings are not updated, and it felt like living on a construction site. We upgraded to a new room, the old ones are really bad. The staff is very nice and friendly.

It was an okay room, ac was shifting in temperature and the beds were hard. Poor cleaning, a lot of dust in the corners! Which our son found when he was moving around. Nice and friendly staff, good pool. Close to a nightclub with loud music until 2-3am. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

First room was terrible, upgraded but it was expensive. No hot water in the room that was more than 4000 Baht per night. Very good location and the staff was very helpful.

En trevlig hotellanläggning med mycket gästvänlig personal. Bra buffe frukost. Bilden på poolen ngt överdriven o det är dykutbildning i den vissa tider. Stranden smal framför allt på förmiddagarna . Kvällstid musik o mkt rörelse på stranden störde inte oss. De flesta bungalows ligger en bit ifrån.

Poor service from reception staff. Triple occupancy room but was given only 1 key upon checked in. When we asked for extra keys, they asked for 1000thb as a deposit. No kettle in the room, water pressure very low. Also, there was an umbrella in the room, so we put it at our room verandah because it was wet, next day it gone missing and reception staff forced us to pay for it. (THB250 each). When we tried to explained, the girl said since u have already used the umbrella, u have to pay for it because nobody knows who has taken your umbrella. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great location, nice pool. Dirty bad reception rooms (sheets, bathroom ...). Housekeeping is to make the beds. Okay breakfast, management refused to heat milk for my children. The staff is not really nice. Price too High given the benefits. Very bad wifi connection. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This is a good mid range hotel near the centre of Sairee Beach. The new rooms nearer the front look very nice. We were towards the back of the hotel where rooms are a little dated but quiet. There appears to be lots of work taking place and staff living on site amongst holiday rooms.

People were not friendly or helpfull at the sairree hut ressort. Trouble during 4 days inside the room. Air condition getting water on the bed, probleme with toillet gping back into the bath.... The only good point : the swimming pool. I will not recommand this place

Old rooms are in very poor condition and too expensive. I spent my holidays for years in ko tao and sairee hut resort and it s getting worse every year. Especially reception staff is not very friendly and non-professional. New rooms look pretty good, but be aware that they are close to the beach and the neighbour hotel sometimes celebrates loud parties on the beach !! Breakfast is standard, restaurant is very good and staff there is friendly. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We had a very nice stay. But there was some problems with the water at our room, and the WiFi was not working at our stay. nice and clean rooms. You also must be prepared for noise from the parties at the beach at night. nice and clean rooms, and very friendly staff. Would defently go there, if I visit Koh Tao again. Great location very close to the beach. Ocean view from pool and breakfast area (great breakfast selection btw). Friendly and cool people working there. Sairee Hut is for sure one of the best looking resorts on Koh Tao. Really nice looking buildings. The only complaint I have is that some of the people next door where very noisy and the towels needs an upgrade. Will stay here again.

Местоположение отеля хорошее, но сам отель не порадовал. Завтраки очень простые, выбор маленький; интернет по wi-fi в номере редко подключался, так что говорить о бесплатном интернете не приходится... Полотенца серые, застиранные, такое же постельное белье (правда, номер убирали каждый день и меняли полотенца на свежие,но такие же серые). Практически всегда отсутствовала горячая вода... Увы, нас данный отель разочаровал. территория немного неухоженная, но когда мы увидели наш номер (superior triple), то действительно расстроились. напоминал дачный домик, с грязными полотенцами, ржавчиной в ванне и раковине. также разочаровал бассейн, купаться в нем так и не смогли. ну и пляж, к сожалению, тоже оказался не очень пригодным для купания. а вот сам остров показался очень приятным :) [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Bra hotel med perfekt placering på sairee beach. Fin och ren pool som sköts perfekt. Polen kyls ner till behaglig temp. Rummen håller normal thai standard. Frukosten var ganska medelmåttig. Jag skulle defenetivt kunna återvända hit.

Room: Garden View B is so bad! The hotel room was not good. View was of a construction site. The refrigerator was made​​. The couch was filthy. The room stifling. Only after complaining there was another room. This room was ok then. For 100 euros a night but we have expected otherwise, and to meet other hotels in Thailand in order to draw a comparison. The worst was the breakfast. No selection from the buffet but a la carte menu, this one could pick out a dish. No loving preparation, for example, two small little toast and one little jam. Have fun for the men. A woman is there perhaps be more satisfied. This is not a quality for 100 Euro the night!!!

What a dive.We made a big mistake with this. Thank God it was only for 3 nights. The room was scruffy.There was a Greek style toilet and only cold water.This was supposed to be a Junior Villa-more like Aston Villa.The balcony was not falling to pieces-it already had.The exterior was in total darkness at night so a torch is necessary. The breakfasts were a joke. Just try toasting bread on a George Forman grill-it was very similar to this.Impossible.Why they didn t have a proper toaster God knows.That said the staff were very helpful and friendly.The area of Sairee is very Busy and seedy and you take your life in your hands when you go out as there are no footpaths and you have to walk along a very busy road.There is a walking street nearby but again idiots on scooters drive very fast up and down this walkway.There are however many good restaurants nearby.Needless to say we will never return to this dump. Inte värt det pris vi betalade men det finns billigare alternativ , små bungalower, inom området. Huvudbyggnaden är fräsch och ligger vid pool, hav och restaurang. Här finns inga solstolar på stranden utan på kanten mellan poolen och havet. Det var fint men stolarna var inte lika många som gästerna. Stranden och havsbadet var inte alls som vi förväntat oss, grov sand och lite sumpig botten. Många båtar låg där utanför. Saireestranden duger visst till att ta sig ett dopp från men många tar båtturer för att snorkla, dyka och bada på andra ställen. Personalen i receptionen beställer taxibåt om man vill. På kvällen var det trevligt på hotellets restaurang som dukade till grillafton på stranden. Det är nära till byns många restauranger och affärer. Mycket billigt att äta och dricka på denna ö! Städningen av golvet var slarvig. När vi klagade erbjöd de sig att göra om det. Vi hade bokat rum deluxe B (ganska dyrt) och blev besvikna. Ett nytt hus hade byggts på baksidan vilket innebar en murad vägg två meter från balkong och framför det enda fönstret. Vi fick byta till deluxe A men fick betala 300 Bath extra per natt. Ännu dyrare rum alltså men nu med fin balkong mot pool och hav. Sköna sängar men luftkonditioneringen var alltför kraftig, den blåste för fullt över oss hela natten trots att den var inställd på lägsta hastighet. Vi frös faktiskt! Hotellet har gratis transfer till piren när det är dags att lämna ön. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Booked family room for 1,890 then paid extra 900 to upgrade to delux garden view room. Well worth the extra money. Great location & pool. 2nd room was 5*. only complaint hot water not always available & room was v clean as it was new but daily cleaning was not as good as other resorts. But over-all I would def. stay here again & they have rooms to suit all budgets.

nice Resort,good location, nice staff. construction work was going on everywhere was construction material lying around. It was not noisy, but optically not attractive. Bar closed at 10 pm! However the next bar is just around the corner. Good breakfast [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great beach location with friendly staff. Lots of renovating and new buildings going up but once completed and garden area maintained should be very nice. Standard room with airconditioning is very simple but clean, bathroom old. Resort has a nice pool area with more deck chairs overlooking beach as well as the cafe. 2 minute walk to the village area, far enough not to hear the party goers. Only con was breakfast, always cold and became boring after a few days. Overall would consider coming back to this hotel if I couldn t get a better deal close by. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great location on Sairee Beach. Nice & quiet resort (even the building work wasn t disturbing) but right on the beach and close to the bars and shops nearby. Beautiful sunsets each evening - I ate in the resort restaurant a couple of times & it was v nice. There are also lots of places to eat close by too. This booking was for an a/c double room. I later moved into a fan room as I was on a budget. A/C room was nicer and had a few extra perks (safe, fridge), but both were fine. I booked my onward travel plus day trips from reception. V helpful and friendly staff [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This was a lovely place to stay, very friendly staff with clean and comfortable rooms. Right on the beach as well, which is gorgeous and their is a lovely beach front restaurant and bar where you can enjoy cocktails and good food.

Disappointed in Sairee Hut. The place was a construction zone and the evening staff was very rude. One evening at 10pm I locked myself out of my room and went to reception. The chubby girl at restaurant reception told me too bad and to sleep on the beach and offered no other help. I couldn t believe it! I had to then insist on someone else contacting the manager and wait 30 minutes for the manager to come and send someone to let me in my room. Also no water pressure so couldn t have a hot shower without the water switching off. Way better places to stay on Sairee beach. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Nice room. Towels were cleaned but smelly, same with pillows. Really nice pool and a great breakfast with lots of different food. No hotwater.

Found the place very nice. It s the opposite side of the island to the trashy part of Pangan which was good for us. It s the nicest resort on an extremely nice beach. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded like other beaches can get. The staff and service was very helpful. They organised buses for anyone that wanted to go to the fullmoon party. The pool is very nice. only complaint is that the pool bar is not operational :( But would definately recomend this place

The service at the restaurant was far below par. Food that was ordered never came on multiple occassions and we always had to ask for our check at least 3 times before we received it. After the second day of poor service we refused to eat there anymore. There was also a lot of construction, which is ok but no discount was given and we made reservations(deposit) prior to knowing about the construction taking place. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Good hotel, good location, fairly quiet, fairly well maintained. The rooms (junior bungalow) are quite spacious and well equipped, but it lacks hot water to make it perfect. The staff is friendly, available and easy. The breakfast is quite extensive and stocked regularly. Good quality for this price range.

There is a lot of construction works being held at the moment (Sept 2010), a lot of dirt on the road in the hotel, many of the workers and other thai people are constantly in the territory of the hotel, some of the are very noisy and even live there. Not recommended at least before the reconstruction works are over. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Lovely clean rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We extended our stay by 2 extra days with no problems. If you book a diving course they give you accommodation free, but we were given a discount on the diving as the decision wasn t made until we were there. Dive school was very good. The resort has a lovely pool on the beachfront and breakfast can be taken on the beach. The location is good if you don t want to be in the thick of it but close enough to walk easily. Lots of lovely restaurants close by.
