Hei, Vi hadde en flott tur til Koh Tao hvor vi bodde på dette lille Sjarmerende hotellet .De ansatte var veldig hyggelige og satte Service for oss først og sist,hotellet har en flott strand med akvariet kvalitet alle fiskeslag bare å ta på dykkermaske Med snorkel å nyte alle de forskjellige fiskene og korallene Kjempebra .litt utdaterte rom men det betyr ikke så mye ,vi var Ikke der for å være på rommet.Helt perfekt til å slappe av på og Nyte stillheten.

Service and food were excellent (compliments to the chef), but they have irrational thinking that it is ok to make customers wait an hour and half for a taxi driver and will bitch at customer if they are 5 minutes late for a taxi driver. Why do they give taxi drivers such deferential treatment? Completely irrational.

Ganz tolle Anlage - in der Natur eingebettet. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Gutes Essen. Schöner Pool und traumhafter, sauberer Strand, zum schnorcheln genial. Andere nette Restaurants in der Nähe. Traumhaft!!! Einzig die vielen Stechmücken (tag- und nachtaktive) waren störend. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We loved Montalay Resort, especially the location. Tanote Bay was perfect for what we wanted. A nice quiet beach away from the towns and crowds, with no shops and great snorkelling straight off the beach. Pool was a luxury although we spent most of our time on the beach. Restaurant had great food, if not a limited Thai menu. We also visited the other restaurants/bars in the Bay. Rooms were good. Cottage Tree-tops were a hike uphill but quiet and with a great view. We hope to come again sometime.

chambre perchée dans les cabanes de bois cadre sympa mais accès par marches plus fatigant que les autres chambres plus proches de la réception plage. Routes qui menent à lhotel difficiles et pas de location de quad à lhotel. Buffet petit dej correct. Restaurants au choix sur la plage. Attention aux coraux qui peuvent blesser lors des baignades. Hotel sympas avec une équipe tres serviable dommage que la route soit aussi accidenté car la location de scooter est suscidere et du coup ça bloque les déplacements sur l île qui est tres accidenté.au niveau de l hôtel il faudrait juste revoir un peu la propreté dans les salle de bain des cabanes qui pour le reste sont très sympas avec une vue imprenable sur la mer [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Хороший отель на живописном пляже. Мы жили в корпусе на втором этаже. Номера большие, светлые, с прекрасной душевой кабиной. В номере удобные кровати, большая лоджия, есть телевизор, холодильник, чайник. Так как расположен отель в отдаленной бухте острова, то он предоставляет бесплатную доставку с пирса. Такси отеля в течении дня за разумную плату развозит по разным пляжам. В отеле хороший бассейн, много удобных зон для отдыха, красивая и ухоженная территория. Отличные завтраки, разнообразные блюда, фрукты. Очень понравилась кухня отеля, замечательный повар! Суп Том Ка по настоящему домашний, что редко встретишь в общепите. Отель достойный, рекомендую. Hôtel bien situé pour profiter du snorkelling sur la plage de Tanothe. Ils sont venus nous chercher à la jetée à l arrivée sur Ko tao ce qui est très pratique, car ensuite on est isolés. Мы жили в основном здании отеля, в 300 м от пляжа и 200 м от ресторана и бассейна. Бухта Танота Бэй подойдет для людей любящих уединение и тишину, линия пляжа протяженностью 400-450 м. Отель находится в 20-25 мин от порта и основного центра цивилизации Ко Тао. В отеле есть дайв-центр. В номере нет сейфа, номер хороший, чистый и достаточно комфортный. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Прекрасный отель для небольшой остановки на Ко-Тао. Никаких нареканий к сервису. Персонал рецепшена и ресторана хорошо говорит по английски. От пирса до отеля предоставляется бесплатный трансфер. Обратно 100 Бат с человека. Дорога до отеля живописная. Отель расположен в уединенной бухте, поэтому рядом нет магазинов и прочих развлечений - до всего надо ехать. Ресторан хороший, порции большие, но дороговат, впрочем как и все на Ко-Тао. Завтрак в отеле хороший: фрукты и все необходимое в наличии. В соседнем Посейдоне сносно кормят и немного дешевле. Риф начинается практически сразу от берега. Подводный мир - чистый восторг. В отеле есть прокат ласт и масок. На пляже лежаки, в номере предоставляются пляжные полотенца. Огромный плюс отеля - бассейн, когда море штормит, здесь можно с удовольствием проводить время. Говорят на рецепшене есть сейф, но мы им не пользовались. Greatl place friendly staff, lovely bay, but a 20 minute drive from the main sairee beach, if you want peace and quiet, this is the place, if you want nightlife forget it lol...we loved it and would go back. We stayed in tree top villa, you need to be fit. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Gorgeous area hotel. Cozy bungalows, a beautiful beach. Of the minuses - the room no closet, clothes dryer, hooks where you could hang clothes, but this is offset by the entourage of the hotel. If you re looking for an hotel away from the party spots, the Montalay is good, because once you re there, the road to get out is so bad that we, who are seasoned scooter travellers didn t even attempt the journey. There actually is very little reason to leave the resort, as the beach and pool are lovely. There are 3 or 4 restaurants along the beach, so, just a short stroll away. We stayed in the treetop bungalow, which has a magnificent view. However it needed a good clean, THERE IS NO CUPBOARD!! and those steps to reach it, nearly finished my old knees! Besides the fantastic yoghurt, the breakfast was very blah (pre-cooked fried eggs!!) We discovered you could ask for bacon(exactly 4 rashers). The staff were excellent, willing and friendly. The free pick-up from the ferry point was greatly appreciated. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The location of the hotel is very quiet, the hotel has a private swimming pool in front of the hotel facing the sea, the beach can be snorkeling, you can see many fish, beach not far can free experience cliff diving. A perfect hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday! Good food, nice beach directly outside the hotel, fantastic coral reef, very nice friendly and helpful personell, Clean, safe. Just 15 minutes away from the harbour and main beach with nightlife. We can really recommend Montaly!

Der Strand ist nicht perfekt sauber, hat aber einen super Spot zum schnorcheln. Party gibts hier nicht und das ist gut so. Die Hütten haben alles, was man braucht und sind sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde gerne wieder dort hin.

We stayed at Montalay beach resort for 6 days as arrived to koh Tao after 12 days at koh Samui and 2 days at koh Panghan. Montalay was the best place we ve been during this vacations though the price was twice cheaper than we had at Samui hotels. We had 2 tree top cottages w/t conditioner: one for my father and the other for me and my husband. Ventilator is enough and sometimes we just left windows open during the night and it was perfect. The only thing I didn t like is mosquitos but if you have some remedy then it s ok. At reception they give one free anti-mosquito spiral if you ask. The territory is very green with beutiful flowers and trees. There is always a lot of squirrels and beautiful lizards. Also we saw some exotic birds like kiwi. The breakfast is very good, close to 4 stars breakfast. Though the last day we needed to leave at 5-15 a.m. as had a boat at 6 a. m. and asked to prepare bags with breakfast but personnel said that the kitchen is open only at 7 so they cannot give us anything. In other cases the personnel is very quick and always ready to help. The location in our case is also an advantage as we had our own marvelous beach with a rock for jumping and clear water with great varieties of fish. We snorkeled every day for several times. Montalay has it s own SPA salon with sauna in a rock. The massage is average but anyway it was pleasant and I went over there for around 4 times. We recommend Montalay beach resort very much and hope to be back next time. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

A notre surprise, une navette de l hôtel nous attendait à la descente du bateau (c était bien agréable). Nous voilà partis pour une séance de conduite en 4*4 : sensations garanties ... N utilisez pas l ordi mis à disposition des clients (il est bourré de virus !!!!!!, Il m a détruit toutes mes photos). L Hôtel est très beau, les bungalows sont au milieu de la végétation. Un petit bémol concernant les repas : ne pas s attendre à de la grande restauration. En revanche, la localisation de l’hôtel au bord de la mer est vraiment appréciable et en cas de mauvaise mer il y a la piscine.

perfect location for diving and to spend time with the family. The resort is partly modernized, where very charming and well maintained cottages in the forest surround a modern deluxe room building. Overall very clean and well taken care of. I would not recommend this resort for families with babies as the resort (likewise the whole island) is not stroller friendly. Also if you have kids starting to move around, you will find several places with the danger to injure kids. Recommend for the age 4+ it is the perfect place. 4 restaurants nearby where two are excellent thai food. Hotel restaurant has limited items on the menu, but food quality is excellent. Slightly higher prices than other restaurants. The resort has its own (very good) dive center. Diving is very much affordable. Tours start in the morning and you ll be back at lunch time full with pictures of the incredible dive sites close by. Fantastic place to stay also for snorkelers. The house reef is full of sea life starting a few meters from the beach front.

неплохой отель но в крайне заброшенном месте, это нужно учитывать, т.к. в этой бухте находится 3 отеля и соответственно 3 ресторанчика, больше ничего. если хочется в цивилизацию нужен скутер или такси (насчет скутера тоже сложно - т.к. дороги на ко-тао сродни нашим российским, т.е. ужасные, да еще и через горы. из плюсов такого расположения - чудесная бухта для снорклинга. кораллы от берега и до бесконечности! Montalay Beach Resort was fantastic. Our hut on the mountain side had everthing, nice porch to relax on, mosquito screens and net, clean room and bed, big flat screen TV, kettle with coffee/tea, nice bathroom with shower (only draw back is the water pressure is very low in the shower). All the hotel staff were excellent. I wouldn t recommend the cabins for old people as it s quite a steep climb up. The pool is awesome and you can snorkel right there with 1000 s of fish. Amazing! Sehr schön gelegene Anlage mit schönem Pool und guter Restauration, aber ziemlich abgelegen. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und neu eingerichtet, allerdings nur mit Ventilator. So war es auch in der Nacht sehr warm im Zimmer. Ein AC wäre angebracht gewesen. Wunderschöner Strand, das Wasser an den ersten 2 Tagen sehr sauber und klar, dann drehte der Wind und es war dann nicht mehr so angenehm zu baden. Zum Schorcheln und Tauchen ein schönes Gebiet. Trés bon hotel, nous avons testé une chambre et un bungalow. La chambre: très bon équipement, c est moderne, tout fonctionne (ce n est pas le cas de la majorité des établissements visités lors du séjour). Mais les murs sont vraiments très fins, même avec des boules Quies, j ai pu suivre l intégralité du film du voisin. Heureusement, après 22h30, en général, tout le monde commence à dormir... Le Bungalow: Dans la partie nature de l hotel, avec chacun son petit jardin privatif, on se sent chez soi et plus de problème de voisinage!Plus rustique et heureusement que j avais ma prise anti-moustique...mais beaucoup plus reposant que la chambre... Très belle plage, bien que des vagues en permanence puisqu exposé à l Est au vent dominant. Mais attention: un pas dans l eau mais pas 2: vous vous arracherez les pieds sur le corail, prévoyez donc lunettes de piscine ou masques et tubas, (ou chaussures de bain), vous vous éviterez bien des blessures (la clinique de l ile ne désemplit pas...)et contemplerez le monde de Némo. Enfin la piscine, elle est vraiment géniale et à bonne température, le diving center s ennuyait cette semaine là, pas de groupe passant son niveau 1 de plongée, la piscine était donc entièrement à nous... wonderfull hotel, very quiet and romantic, near the beach, great swimming pool, full of equipments. The room is very clean and confortable, big with nice bathroom. The breakfast is excellent with full of choice. Restaurant food was outstanding and at a good price too. Staff are friendly and helpful. Diving school in the hotel. Although we had a fan room, with the doors open (mosquito nets cover the doors), it was breezy but not enough cool, we should had taken climatisation. A little bit hard to access, but the hotel can come and take you to the pier. We reccomand this hotel.

Должны были заехать в 9 утра, но перевозчика Ломпрайя привезли на 3 часа раньше. На пирсе встретил водитель отеля, это очень порадовало. Заселили сразу же, в 7-30 мы уже были в номере. Тип номера супериор в корпусе, просторный. Завтраки на четверочку, голодными. Будете. Такси до цивилизации ходит по расписанию 4 раза в день, остальное все по двойному тарифу. На сайте основная фотография устарела, с бассейна на пляж вид через пальмы. Пляж почти безлюдный, народу очень мало. Кухня в отеле вкусная, цены демократичные. Самое главное-расположение отеля для тех, кто действительно собрался получить полный релакс [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

酒店总体感觉不错，位置偏僻，但安静。房间设施一般，早餐较好，服务好，服务生给人的感觉舒服。有自己沙滩，可浮潜。沙子颗粒大，咯脚。性价比较好。

The resort was excellent, with a great diving center with prepared staff, amazing swimming pool by the beach. Good quality resaturant (the best of Tanote bay). On the con side, we missed some reclining sunbeds on the beach and beach umbrellas. Regarding the room it was very nice (deluxe, not superior) and the AC was silent and efficient, the bed was very large and comfortable and the bathroom was cleaned and beautiful. But we thought that the room could be better equipped to be perfect (w/hairdryer, shower caps, and soap bars for instance). [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The accessibility of the hotel is not good but the hotel is situated at a bay with good snorkel condition. You can just snorkel at the beach with many fish of different species. That s great!

The stay at Montalay resort was excellent by all means. The building with hotel rooms is new with nice sea/mountain view. AC worked all day long. The only thing that could be added to each room - safe box. The beach is extremely nice for snorkeling - gorgeous corals and plenty of all kinds of fish. You need to be careful when you swim especially in the morning - due to the tide it is very easy to get on sharp corals that are everywhere. There are 2 dive centers in Tanote bay, they offer courses and fun dives at very reasonable price. Montalay restaurant is nice but a bit pricey, there are other restaurants at the beach with good Thai food and lower price. Montalay is the only hotel in Tanote bay with swimming pool, the pool is clean and very nice. Breakfast was included and had very good variety and quality. The hotel is 20 mins away from the main pier, there are shuttle trucks that may take you back and forth. Nice stay, hope to come back one day! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This is a great place, beautiful location and excellent service - the staff are really friendly and food in the restaurant very good. Don t come here if you want to go out/party late as the road from town is not good. But for a very relaxing holiday in a gorgeous spot it is perfect. + Our separate bungalow with air-con A01 was almost the closest to beach.There is good pool.Big beach, pure water.There are big good breakfast with bacon,ham,eggs,fresh fruits.Prices for lunch is quite hight,but in next Diamond restaurant price is quite small.Free water and tea and nescafe there are in the room.In the water near the beach there are many corals (soft,green, sponges, actinya,christmas tree worms) and fishes (rays,gigantic grouper and angel fishes), very good snorkling and diving from beach. Once, when it was raining, I saw shark about 1m on snorkling! There is very good diving center with new equipment.English dive-instructor Jonh Connoly is very good, especially for beginners.Dive boat go to dive to different places around island with small people,even with 1-2 persons. Price for dive in that diving center and others diving centers for all island is the same: from 1000 to 700 bat for 1 dive. - Room was old,without wardrobe.Air-con was noisy and blows straight to bed.There is not shade in the beach,there are not beach umbrellas,plank beds.At 5-6 p.m.in the pool is strewed chlorine(chlorine smell). There are many moscitoes in the hotel.If you want to make up room,you have to tell to reception.Taxi goes 4 times in day, but costs quite expensive, price is 200 bat there-back per 1 person.The latest trip is at 5 p.m.and back at 7 p.m. or 10 p.m., and you do not have time to eat in town, and quite expensive to go to eat in town.The road is hard mountain,and you can not use rent motorbike.When you get by taxi,you can get with staff and things to laundry:) [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I am writing to give my feedback regarding our stay on the nights of December 21st & 22nd. While you have a beautiful resort, we had one of the most unpleasant experiences from our trip to Thailand. There was LOUD construction (cement drilling) right by our room until at least 2am on December 22nd. We ended up getting up at 7am to leave the resort- and we were more exhausted than before we came due to the lack of sleep. This was an incredibly inconvenient experience for people who are paying to stay in your resort (without telling us in advance, as well). If you are going to be working on the resort 24 hours a day, it is rude and unprofessional to have guests stay there.

Not easy to get the hotel, road is bad for motobike, but suitable for a long stay, very nice private beach and bay. better to contact the hotel and book pick-up service in advance. This resort is absolute PARADISE.... Perfection in the rooms and the grounds and great food, served by friendly happy attentive staff. Stunning beauty both below the sea and above. The coral reef for snorkling is right off of their beach, and is fantastic and thier diving center is the best. it is quiet and peacefull here. PARADISE FOUND !!!

This is with out a doubt the most beautiful resort, love my superior room, really great prices, terrific food, served by freindly, happy staff and the bay here is fantastic snorkling right off the beach !! corals and colorful fish abound, quite and peaceful not crowded... Cette hotel est entrain d être construit la partie nouvelle est superbe,nous nous étions dans des bungalows dans un jardin luxuriant,les bungalow etaient confortables,seul problème c est que A/C ne marche que la nuit et fait beaucoup de bruit,mais si non c est propre.Le service est plus que limite,ou plustot inexistant,c est dommage.L endroit est perdu au bout d une route défoncée,la plage est belle la baignade facile et c est un spot pour le snorkling très chouette [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
