I guess you get what you pay for. The room does not have hot water. I mean no hot water taps at all so expect a freezing shower. There is no safe in the room or reception to protect belongings. There is a fan in the room which clicks when it turns so could disrupt sleep. The strangest thing of all was the toilet had a sign saying to not put anything including toilet paper in there and to use the bin. Never seen that before. The room was clean though and was cleaned well every day. The staff were unhelpful and almost everyone who we saw was complaining about them. Not sure if it was a language issue but the customer service was pretty poor.

Very nice stay. Not in the front of the beach but from 5 min by walk. Nice swimming pool. We haven t tried the dive center. This hotel is near everything. Very good deal !

not convenient check-out time 10a.m. on arrival didn t meet on a pier though promised and had to meet(free service of hotel). I wait shuttle bus on a pier 45min... then I took a taxi and paid 300baht for the road. Hotel not return money, and was told by they were mistaken in time))) and but for it prolonged check-out time to 1p.m. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Asia Resort at the Koh Tao Island isn t among the cheapest accommodations you can find in Thailand. OK, the Island is teeming with Western tourists so you can expect the prices of everything to go up somewhat, compared to prices on mainland. But even so, you would think that for the money you pay them, the breakfast in the hotel should be a bit more plentiful. If two (2!) slices of toast is the best they can come up with whatever breakfast set you choose, then they are either in a serious trouble financially or the management is extremely stingy. I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is fairly close to the beach, about a 10 Minuit walk. Tha staff were very nice and helpful and the room was very nice (except the pillows, they were hard as f..k) We have been backpacking around Asia for a while and this is defenetly in the top 5 of the hotels we have stayed at, and that is quite a few! I would go back for sure. One thing tho, the pool is occupied by divers in the mornings, you can still go in, but it s a bit crowded. Other than that, the poor was nice as well, and if you are going to dive, the instructors sound amazing! (Never tried myself)

I stayed at Asia resort two nights. One night in standard fan room and other in superior thai style room. Hotel s location was nice. It is close to seven eleven and on the same street is many restaurants. Beach is in walking distance too. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. They booked ferry tickets and taxi for me when I asked it. Standard fan room was ok. It was clean and not too hot. There was some holes in a window frames, where mosquitos could come in. Thai style superior room was really cute, but full of holes for mosquitos to come in. Plus there was something bigger living inside the bed. Maybe mouse or some bug (roach). My boyfriend noticed that middle of the night, but was too tired to go complain about it as we had only couple hours of sleep time left ahead of us. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Like the location just a few minutes walk from Saire center. The hotel is getting older and older for each time we visit and soon it will need some serious renovation. Very nice staff and and a decent restaurant. If you dont like it, Tic s awsome resturant is just a minute down the road.

Just love this hotel, nice and calm and the bed is really comfortable. Room is cleaned daily and always fresh towels. Nice staff. Only minus is the breakfast, but there is several places to eat just nearby. I will stay here next time I go to Koh Tao for sure. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

nice, clean and new hotel; various buildings in a beautiful garden with pool. rooms are good, clean bed and mattress even in the standard-backpackers-rooms. Only hick-up: the comfort-rooms with fans only have one window, so it was not possible to let air flow from one window to the other, which had catastrophic effects on the air quality in the rooms. it shoud be considered to provide all rooms with just one window-side with air-condition. location ist ok, 100 m to the center of sairee village, but another 200 m to the beach. Go for a fan-only room; ours was powerful and above the bed whereas the a/c unit was above door and not that powerful. Take beach/pool towels (not supplied). No safe deposit boxes in room - can be stored at reception, but you need to get key and stored items before 2100hrs, when it closes! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Room great, cleaned everyday. Only problem no room safe as advertised, had to use safe at reception. Close enough to all the action , but far away enough to be quiet. Check out Star Club on the beach. Would be happy to stay again!

This hotel was much nicer than I expected. Gorgeous pool area. Room was lovely and new. Nice large room with stylish decor. Previous reviews refer to millipedes, we saw two over four days, we wouldnt even have noticed them if we hadnt been on the look out from what we had read. Definately dont let that put you off. Hotel is one of the best around for the price and the only one with such a beautiful pool area for such a bargain price. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Etablissement bien placé près de l animation du soir. Piscine agréable malgré quelques plongeur. Chambre sale avec des cafards. Personnel pas très agréable.

First off, the staff had great English and were efficient and helpful with several questions we had... That being said,we stayed in the cheapest Air/Con room, and it was sub par by our standards. Definitely geared to those on a budget/backpackers, and that s not what we were looking for - wanted something a bit more relaxing. There were people very loud outside of our room til after midnight, the A/C leaked all night long and they refused to fix it and the pool is often full of people learning to dive. Maybe the more expensive rooms were nicer? [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Asia Diver s Resort. The internet connection could have been better (more consistent) Also, after experiencing using take away chopsticks for two sit down meals at the restaurant, I offered to buy 30 pairs of plastic reusable chopsticks as a gift to the restaurant in my efforts to left less waste. I was disappointed the restaurant staff turned me down. Because of this, I used my own chopsticks instead. Otherwise, I had a lovely stay and would recommend this resort to other travelers. The territory is green, pool is clean and breakfast is good. But in room was very hot (we took fan room). When we was in room we always open our door to have some air. Better to take aircon room.

budget resort close to the village center but quiet,few minuts walk to beach. nice garden, room was clean and had every things you need, but the show was xxxx likes the tape was Pee Pee ING.

We were already in this hotel and we d like to stay another night. So they tell us that our room was booked and the only free room costed 1500bath. So we decide to book online on Sawadee, we paid ONLY 1000bath for same room!!! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

pleasently surprised with the quietness of Asia Resort, excellent snorkelling trip and no hitch travel arrangements from Koh Tao to Bangkok, breakfast a bit lean . WiFi good and free. I did not use the pool but noticed a few towels out early morning. Will I use Asia Resort again? yes! Although I did not dive the training facility seemed proficient and far in advance to when I became a BSAC 3rd class almost 40 years ago. Now almost 70 I did not feel to isolated from the majority of Koh Tao visitors . But not many people knew that Kind Regards Tony. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

yes I was most pleased to find that I paid in full and the price included breakfast , Asia resort was picked at Random from WWW. Koh Tao using internet cafe in Koh Phangang only a couple of days previously .

room is ok, the pool is small but nice. But the reception service is below the normal Thailand standard. Book a diving course so they will offer you room for free. But if you paid room already, only can bargain little discount for diving.

Nice hotel territory, nice staff, good price, free wi-fi. 5 minutes walk to sea and to main street. but in cheap rooms only cold shower ))) at the road that goes from hotel to 7-eleven on the crossroad, at the left side i recomend you to visit cafe kanya restourant - cheap prices and well cooked tasty food.50 metres from hotel i think.
