Suite au tremblement de terre qui s'est produit aujourd'hui au nord de l'océan Indien, des alertes aux tsunami et plan d'évacuation de certaines zones ont été mit en place pour certaines régions de l'ouest de la Thaïlande.
Après avoir reçu déjà plusieurs messages en privé, sachez que : tout va bien à Koh Tao et dans le golfe de Thaïlande. Nous n'avons pas d'alerte.
"It was initially reported at 8.9 and then downgraded. The order, following a warning from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre, was aimed particularly at people in tourist provinces of Phuket, Krabi and Phangnga, which are high risk, to evacuate to high ground far away from the sea shore." Bangkok Post.
Vous l'aurez compris, aucun risque n'est soulevé pour la côté Est et Koh Tao. Pourtant certains témoignages indiquent avoir ressenti une secousse à Mae Nam et Chaweng sur l'île de Koh Samui. Lire sur Thaivisa.
A la télévision locale thaïlandaise certains ont témoigné avoir aussi senti la secousse à Surat Thani et jusqu'à Bangkok.
Des vols annulés sur Phuket
Nous avons reçu un communiqué de Bangkok Airways indiquant que l'aéroport est momentanément fermé jusqu'au 12 avril 2012 à 8:00 et que 7 vols sont annulés.
Voici le communiqué :
"Under the emergency circumstance of Tsunami warning in the area of Andaman Ocean, Phuket International Airport as part of an evacuation zone has to temporarily close for safety reason until April 12, 2012 at 8 a.m. (Thailand local time).
Bangkok Airways announced cancellation of all flights in and out of Phuket on April 11, 2012. There are totally 7 flights that have been cancelled as follows.
Bangkok-Phuket 3 flights (PG277, PG279 and PG220)
Phuket-Bangkok 2 flights (PG278, and PG280)
Samui-Phuket 1 flight (PG257)
Phuket-Samui 1 flight (PG258)
Passengers booked in these flights or has their travel itinerary to Phuket or Krabi during 11 - 12 April 2012, may contact Bangkok Airways Ticketing Office to re-book new flight with no additional charge.
